Praying Hands Across America

I have a HUGE Suggestion! Let's not only have a 'National' Day of Prayer, but let's join hands across and around AMERICA to show our commitment to Jesus Christ! Anybody out there in on this one???? Blessings to all of you!

"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."  2Chronicles 7:14

We are a nation founded on principles of faith and religious freedom.  Let's stand united and give honor to whom honor is due.  To God be the Glory!

Seize the Day

Sometimes being 'under the weather' can make you think about things a lot more. We have lived in the greatest nation in the world for so long that it seems people have become complacent and have taken it all for granted.  That's true about every area of our lives if you get down to brass tacks.  Our families, health, finances, God given talents and gifts, and the very lives we live are all taken for granted.

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life......starting over from scratch and the world is my playground. For so many years I have put my faith and trust in other people only to be disappointed, rejected, or deceived.  I know now that the only person I can put my faith and trust in is the One who gave the ultimate sacrifice to set me free.  His name is Jesus.  Jesus does not reject you, he does not deceive you and He definitely will not disappoint you.  He will not steal from you materially, but if you let Him in your life He will steal your heart.  I love knowing that Jesus is always there for me.  His arms are around me and He loves me no matter what. Our Father in Heaven gave us the greatest gift in the world through His One and Only Son.

Just remember,
these are blessings from
Our Heavenly Father:
Mercy
Grace
Forgiveness
Unconditional Love
Salvation
Eternal Life

God has given us the best instruction book for life that we could ever hope to have and that is the Bible.  Read it, study it, drink it in and let it envelope your very being.  You will be transformed!

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."   Romans 12:2  (NKJV)

Seize the Day and Take Your Life Back!

"His mercies are new every morning!"

Did You?

Life by the Spirit
16So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. 17For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. 18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.
19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
Galatians 5:16-26

Just curious.... did you dare to be different today?

A New Day

Life is what we make of it.....we have one chance, one day, and one moment that is truly guaranteed. This is it! This is the best day of your life so make the most of it. Live it as if it were your last and you'll go to bed a happy camper. Waking up will be a pleasant surprise and another day full of special moments. Life is for living, for loving, for sharing, for laughing, and most importantly life is for giving. When you give and put others before yourself, you will find that loving others is one of the greatest gifts that you can give. There is a reason that Jesus told us to love one another and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Try it and see what happens in your life. Challenge for the day: Dare to be Different!
